Our 13th Annual Stand Down will take place at Veterans Inc. headquarters on 69 Grove Street in Worcester, MA on Friday, June 15th from 9AM - 3PM.
Through our Annual Stand Down, we will provide an array of services, support, and free items to homeless and in-need veterans and veteran families.
Among the many services and free items provided are:
-A Career Fair
-Counseling and Substance Abuse Referrals
-Employment and Training Services
-Health and Wellness Services
-Housing Resources
-Legal Services
-Free Clothing, Food, Haircuts, and Personal Care Items
The Stand Down is open to homeless and in-need veterans and their families. All services and items are provided free of charge. Veterans should bring a DD-214 or VA card as proof of veteran status.
The WRTA is offering free transportation during Stand Down to veterans who show their VA card or DD-214!
Please note that Grove Street will be closed to traffic between Faraday and Salisbury Streets from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. the day of our Stand Down, Friday, June 15th.
